Great
weekend in Ventura! Tally won Best Of Winners Saturday, picking up her
first major which leaves her with needing only one major (3 points)
to finish her AKC Championship. She placed 4th the other two days, so
was in the ribbons all weekend. Thank you Elizabeth Nelson for her superb
presentation of our Tally.
Henley
finished his Rally Novice title and then his Rally Advanced title in
6 straight shows May 2010. A huge thank you to Billy Anderson for his
expert training and handling of our Henley. Watch for news of Henley's
future obedience escapades.
Monte (Ch Masters Foxfire About Time) celebrated his 13th birthday in
style...lots of new stuffed toys, special cookies, and a new bone (as
if he needed more, he's so spoiled!).

Masters Move Like Wizzard, RN is home with Luke and Laura from his hunting
training with Lakota Retrievers in TX. Laura writes that they are entered
in his first Hunting Test the end of April 2010. Laura, Luke and Ozzie
continue in the multi-purpose vein with hitting the St Louis GRC Specialty
this month, too. Go Team!

Ozzie's sister, Tommi (Masters Futura Move Aside Boys) hit the ring,
too, but she had way too much fun to win big time. Oh well, dog shows
should always be fun, so we consdier that a big win, too.

Congratulations to Judi Voss and Jane Jensen on the exciting wins on
the puppies sired by our "Tag" and out of their girl, "Mindy". Magic
(pictured) has recently picked up his first major win, and has been
regularly in the ribbons. Not to be left out, his brother "Boo", has
also picked up his first major win, to be neck and neck with Magic for
the single points.
Chloe,
Masters Futura Go For Th'Gold, is now sitting on 7 points and 1 major,
and she's not even 2 years old yet! Chloe, owned by Ainah Lee and Jennifer,
is shown here winning her major in Palm Springs. This was the second
weekend of shows she had been to.

Nice
way to kick off 2010. Tally held her own in the tough Pacific Northwest
shows, placing in most of her classes. She proceeded to win WB/BOW on
Saturday 1/30/10 for 2 points and WB on Sunday 1/31/2010 for another
2 points. This brings her total points up to 8!

Girlie, Masters Futura U Go, Girl (Masterson/Knobbe), won her
American Bred class both days at Golden Gate KC shows as well.

Not to be left out, Opal (Cabaret Come Feel The Fire, o: Masterson/Olson/Golden),
the beagle, made her debut in the 6 to 9 month puppy class. She won
WB for her first championship point on Saturday, RWB on Sunday, and
ALSO Best 13-15 " Puppy, and a Puppy Hound Group 3. This is Miss Opal
practicing at home.

Dogs sired by our boys also had a great weekend! Big
kudos to Patrica Bass Walker with her Tag son, Britsky (pictured trotting)
winning the Bred By Exhibitor Class at the Golden Gate Kennel Club the
end of January, and Winners Dog. Particia and Britsky went on to win
a Bred By Exhibitor Sporting Group 2. The following day Britsky won
Reserve Winners Dog. A very exciting weekend for both!
Congrats also to Shannon Oliver/Sue Carpenter on their Tag girl, Teko's
I Will Be Heard winning RWB from the puppy class on Saturday and
Best Puppy on Sunday.

Henley's puppy daughter, Bubbles (Richards/Hunter), made her debut and
placed 2nd both day in a very competitve 6-9 puppy bitch class.

Introducing Chloe, Masters Futura Go For Th'Gold, who is out
of the repeat Anthony and Delia breeding. Chloe made her show debut
at the San Mateo Christmas/New Years shows, and won Reserve Winners
bitch from the Amercian Bred Class. Not bad for having no idea what
the dog show game was about, and being overweight, to boot! A week at
Camp Fenner, and Chloe snapped into shape. Her next weekend shows in
Palm Springs, Chloe won a 4 point major! Congrats to the Lee's on their
wins with Chloe!

"Louie" Wyee wondering what he is getting for Christmas. I'm betting
it was pretty special!
Congratulations
to Ainah and Larry Lee on their girl, Chloe (aka Masters Futura Go
For Th'Gold, a Delia and Anthony daughter) winning Reserve WInners
Bitch at the San Mateo shows 12/29/09 and her very next weekend
out, winning Winners Bitch for a 4 point major in Palm
Springs. What a way to start 2010! Stay tuned for photos. Tally, our
little Masters Talladega Nights, won Winners Bitch and
Best of Opposite 3 of the 4 days of the San Mateo shows 12/27
thru 12/30. This brings her total to 4 points towards her championship.
12/31/09...Finished
the year with a BANG during the Cluster By The Bay shows, 12/27 thru
12/30. Our cute little "Tally" won the WB three of the four days, bringing
her championship points up to 4. This was followed by multiple class
placements through the tough Southern California shows leading into
the Eukanuba Cup. And, starting her show career off during the same
circuit, "Chloe" (Masters Futura Go For Th'Gold, out of Anthony
and Delia and owned by Ainah Lee and Jennifer Masterson) set foot in
the ring for the first time. She still has some growing up to do as
she is not 2 years old until May, and really did not understand what
being a show dog is about, but she did manage to win a Reserve Winners
Bitch under judge Joe Tacker on Tuesday. Watch for more good things
to come with "Chloe"!
WOW!!!
Ozzie (Masters Moving Like A Wizard) earned his RN title
this weekend (11/14-11/15) placing 3rd with a 97 both days. Ozzie is
just a baby...only 8 months old! Heart felt congratulations to Luke
and Laura, and Ozzie :-)

Ozzie, aka Masters Moving Like Wizard, had a great time in the
show ring with his friend, Judy. Based on this shot, I would say he
was aptly named. On another weekend, he hit the Dock Dog competitons
and had embraced his "golden-ness". Awesome water entry, Ozzie! Congrats
Luke and Laura on all of Ozzie's accomplishments :-), and kudos to you
for all you share with Ozzie.

Mimi,
aka Masters Futura Save The Last Dance, hit the show ring with
her co-owner Judy in September and won her classes easily. Mimi is out
of Anthony and Wendy, and is Wyatt's sister. She's not quite two years
old, so when she is a bit more grown up, she will be a frequent siight
on the show scene, but for now, Mimi and Judy will just enjoy an occasional
weekend out.

Introducing
"Clicquot", aka Masters Rich N Famous, CGC. Clicquot started
her show career with Team Fenner at the Ventura shows the 4th
of July weekend, and what a start she had! Clicquot won both her majors,
winning WB at the Channel City KC 7/3/09 and BOW at the
Ventura County DFA on 7/5/09. Clicquot is Eliza's sister and co-owned
by the Lee's and Jennifer.
Masters
Goldens' 3rd Champion (and 2nd Champion for Judy Knobbe, Futura)
to finish this year is Emma, now known as Ch. Masters Futura Teko
Raz'n Th'Bar! Emma minored out winning 3 of the 4 days at Southern
Oregon shows, then picked up back to back majors in Idaho at the
Pocatello KC shows.
Way
to Go, Eliza! Finishing her Championship at Rio Hondo KC 5/09
going Winners Bitch, Best Of WInners and Best Opposite Sex, then
as a move up into Best Of Breed competition the following day, Eliza
won the Breed over Specials, and went on to win a Sporting
Group 2. All before she is 2 years old! We're very proud of our
Miss Eliza.

Wow
Eliza won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 5 point major under
judge Dorothy MacDonald at the Golden Retriever Club Of America Western
Regional Specialty in Chino, CA on 4/23/09. That brings Eliza up
to 14 points with both majors, all awarded in less than 2 months. Her
first major was awarded winning a Sporting Group 1 under judge Mr
Robert Stein at the Del Sur Kennel Club show, after winning Best
Of Breed over 4 Specials. Thank you to Elizabeth Jordan Nelson and
Laurie Fenner for such incredible presentation and care of our
Miss Eliza!
Flash,
Samantha (Futura Masters Bee Witched) can now add the CH in front
of her name, as she finshed her championship winning Winners Bitch at
the Golden Retriever Club Of San Diego Specialty Show on 2/20/09
under judge Mr. Terry Stacy. What an exciting way to finish by
winning at a Specialty. Thank you to Pam Lamby for handling Samantha
to her finish for the Fenners, Judy Knobbe and I.

"Radar" Palmer, aka Masters Futura The Last Precinct, on his
first birthday celebrating his first birthday with a romp in the woods.
What Golden wouldn't think that was the best birthday present ever?
Well, maybe an added cookie or two :-)

Cutter celebrated his 14th birthday in style, with his human doggie
friends at Lucchesi Park. He LOVED his presents, and of course, in typical
Golden fashion, being the center of attention. Happy birthday Cutter-bug!!!!
Click here to see more photos of Cutter.

Maggie, aka Masters Golden Maggie Mae, NA, NAJ, is out of our
Ch Masters Million Dollar Smile and Ch Feara's Destiny Kodiak Kidd,
SDHF, OS. She shares her life with Nancy Langholff, who has
lovingly taught her how to embrace her "goldeness". Maggie and Nancy
ventured into the agility ring successfully, but even more exciting,
is the impact the two have as a Therapy Dog team.

Emma, Masters Futura Teko Raz'n Th'Bar, who is out of our Anthony
and Delia, won Winners Bitch at the Sacramento Dog Fanciers show
in October 2008. She was shown by her co-owner, Shannon Oliver, Teko
Goldens. Emma has been shown on a limited basis, but is regularly
"in the ribbons". Way to go Shannon and Emma!

Riley, Masters Fly'n Leap, is an avalanche rescue dog, trained
by his owner, Matt Menard. Here you see Riley practicing "finding"
a buried victim. Pretty impressive work, Matt! Riley is out of our Ch
Masters Fairway On Th'Rocks, "Roxie", and Ch Summit Miramichi
Rock On, "Seager".

Congratulations to Monica Echaves' exciting wins with Thunder,
SHR/PR CH/AM CH Masters Thunderstorm, JH. Thunder not only finished
his AKC championship this fall, but also earned his Junior Hunter title,
has earned two legs on his Rally Novice title, and is entered to compete
for his Working Certificate. Thunder is out of our "Favor" Masters
Regency Party of One, AKC Ch pointed, and Am Can CH Pacificgold's
The Dance, SDHF, OS. Phew...all those titles and he is a beloved
pet, too!!!

Congratulations to Moncia Echaves, Caribbean Goldens, on her
first AKC Champion....Canela aka Ch Foxfire Master's WInner Takes
All, CCA.

Masters Grace In High Society, AX, OAJ, aka Gracie, owned by Karl
and Jeanne Widup. Gracie and Jeanne continue to have fun
with Agility. Congratulations to both for your continued success.
